Rice Sales For PNS Targeted to Increase

Jakarta city-owned rice distributor PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya towards civil servants under Jakarta Provincial Government is targeted to increase significantly in the next six to nine months.

Six to nine months of meditation, we are targeting an increase more than 50 percent

Jakarta Deputy Governor Head, Sandiaga Uno expressed, 17,000 out of 70,000 civil servants have bought quality rice with competitive price from PT FSTJ.

"Six to nine months of meditation, we are targeting an increase more than 50 percent," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (11/22).

Besides PNS, he wants non-PNS with 93 employees and coaching micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) can be supplied its rice needs by PT FSTJ.

"Principally we want to give convenience for the people and realize food security in the city," he stated.

PT FSTJ President Director, Arief Prasetyo Adi uttered rice sold to PNS is a premium quality rice priced at Rp 12,400-12,500 per kg, depending on the type.

"We believe, if the program is going to work very well for food security in Jakarta, we are ready to carry out this task," he closed.
